(English Abstract)
A scalable information hovering framework with context-aware routing for vehicular ad-hoc networks is presented. In VANETs, information availability to all nodes is the most important metric to be considered. We present a novel road probability model that calculates the destination region based on the road information. To deliver the relevant information to the target region, an efficient context-aware routing protocol is proposed. The information remains in the target region unless a specific event occurs, such as life time expiry or local maximum. Simulation results show that the proposed framework is well suited for VANETs deployment.
